Why is my part dirty? I bought a fuel filler and it has a gas like smell? Why does the ashtray I purchased smell like cigarettes?
Dead Jeep sells quality USED parts at affordable/competitive prices. We have strict quality control standards, and we maintain them with pride. However, certain parts will have visible signs of use, environmental impact (sun fading) and normal wear and tear. This includes the normal fluid residue for parts located under the hood, or under the vehicle itself. The parts may be unwashed, but they will work in the manor for which they are designed.
When will my donor part ship?
Dead Jeep understands the urgency for your part, and purchased items ship as soon as possible after cleared payment. We have a 10-14 day handeling time do to a large influx of orders, but we do our best to beat that. Dead Jeep does not ship on weekends, or major US holidays. We have real live human beings on our staff, and as much as they would love to be here 24/7, the law prevents us from allowing that.
PLEASE NOTE! Steering columns and transmissions have a much longer handeling time. 15-20 days. We take pride and responsibility for such essential parts and the process to build, test and sign off on these items is worth the wait!
Where do you ship?
Dead Jeep ships anywhere within the CONTINENTAL lower 48 United States.
This EXCLUDES Alaska, Hawaii and the U.S territories of the US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and Guam.
But I live outside of the lower 48 states? Can I still get my parts?
Shipping is available to the locations outside of the continental lower 48 states. Additional fees apply.
My item shipped, but the tracking number is bunk?
We take great pride in ensuring that all order and shipping information is accurate. In certain cases, the carriers of your package (FedEx or USPS) may be delayed in updating their status and location of your order. Dead Jeep does NOT in any way expressed or implied accept responsibility for the employees of FedEx or USPS.
We strongly recommend that you contact the designated carrier handling your order for the most current delivery status. In the event that a package has been lost or misplaced by FedEx or USPS, please email our WTF IS MY PART Department at Parts@deadjeep.com. Please include the order number, date of payment and the tracking information in your email. Please do NOT include profanity, insults, or any form of disrespectful language or content.
I purchased something and received something different! Why you gotta play me dirty like that?
Accuracy is of upmost importance in all aspects of our business. We check, double check and triple check every part we pull, sell and ship. As stated previously, we have real breathing human beings employed here, and while we are the best, some errors may occasionally happen. If you received an incorrect part due to a picking error, FEAR NOT! We will get you the correct part as fast as we can. Contact our parts department at parts@deadjeep.com if such an error has occurred. Dead Jeep may request photos of the incorrect part to determine the best course of correction. We ask for your understanding and patience. We are only human.
What do I do with the part that arrived broken by the hands of the carrier? He murdered my vent window!!
Dead Jeep's highly skilled shipping department handles each of your parts with tender loving care. We love Jeeps, and everything about them. If it's breakable, we protect it. It it's bendable, we support it. If it has buttons, tabs or other doohickeys that are potentially bendable, snap-able, crack-able, or removable, we secure those pieces as well. We cannot and do not extend the same assurances for the carriers (FedEx or USPS) delivering your parts. In the event that your part is delivered broken or damaged, please contact our parts department at parts@deadjeep.com. Dead Jeep may request photos of the packaging and/or damage to the part to determine the best course of correction. We ask for your understanding and patience with situations that are out of our expressed control.
